Scholarships: J. Alex and Ruby Henson Haggard Scholarship
The J. Alex and Ruby Henson Haggard Scholarship was established by lifelong Martin County (Stanton) resident Ruby Haggard in memory of her husband Alex, who died in 2002.
This fund will provide scholarships based upon the following criteria:
- A senior who will graduate in May from a West Texas high school
- A student that demonstrates:
- academic excellence
- community service
- need
- Preference will be given to those pursuing a degree in one of the following:
- agriculture/ranch management
- architecture
- library science
- historic preservation
- landscape architecture

Use your Tab key to move to the next blank on the form. After you've completed the form, you may then print and mail it to the Foundation.
Don't worry if you can't complete the form online. Just print the blank form and fill it out by hand or with a typewriter. The method of completion will not affect the consideration given to your application.
