Scholarships: Kristen Corbin Memorial Scholarship
Kristen Corbin died on August 29, 2007 from injuries she sustained in a tragic car accident, just days before she was to begin her senior year at Andrews High School. She was a dedicated student and star athlete. She lettered in cross country, softball, and track and excelled in her first love, basketball. She was active in her church youth group and her community. She loved the Lord and her family. Kristen had a ready smile, and was a positive influence on the track, on the court, on the field, and most importantly in the lives of her friends and family.
This fund will provide scholarships based upon the following criteria:
- Applicant is a graduating senior from Andrews High School, Andrews, Texas, who participated in athletics.
- Applicant will demonstrate:
- Good character
- U.S. citizenship
- Academic capacity and commitment to succeed in college environment.
