Scholarship Application Process
Welcome to the Permian Basin Area Foundation Scholarship application process. Applicants are urged to review Application Process Guidelines and Frequently Asked Questions prior to beginning the online application process. These documents are designed to make the online application process simple, easy, and efficient.
To be considered for any scholarship opportunity, an applicant must complete the General Scholarship Application. Applicants are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible to ensure consideration for the greatest number of scholarships. Please read carefully all information presented in the General Scholarship Application. If after reading the instructional text you have additional questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Unless otherwise specified, the completed electronic scholarship application must be received by Permian Basin Area Foundation no later than March 31, 2018. Likewise, supporting documents and Reference Evaluation Forms are due by the March 31st deadline.
Applications without all supporting documentation will not be considered by the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee.
To be considered complete, scholarship applications must contain the following:
- Complete General Scholarship Application
- General Scholarship Application Essay Question (not to exceed 500 words)
Copy of high school transcript that includes all high school courses through the third six-weeks of the senior year (applies to graduating seniors); unofficial high school transcript acceptable unless otherwise noted.
Copy of college transcript including concurrent classes (if applicable); unofficial college transcript acceptable unless otherwise noted.
Transcripts must be uploaded directly with your general application (new for 2018-2019). Your application will not be considered otherwise.
