Foundation offers Bunton law school scholarship

February 13, 2009– MIDLAND, Texas - Permian Basin Area Foundation is pleased to announce that a scholarship will be awarded from the Judge Lucius Bunton Memorial Law Scholarship Fund for the fall 2009 semester to a student accepted or currently enrolled in an accredited law school in the United States. All applications will be considered regardless of financial status.

Applicants must be a resident of one of the following counties upon his or her high school graduation: Andrews, Brewster, Crane, Crockett, Culberson, Dawson, Ector, Gaines, Glasscock, Howard, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, Loving, Martin, Midland, Pecos, Presidio, Reagan, Reeves, Sterling, Upton, Ward, and Winkler.

Information and applications are available through Permian Basin Area Foundation website. Completed applications must be received by Permian Basin Area Foundation no later than May 29, 2009.

Permian Basin Area Foundation facilitates the creation of permanent charitable funds, in partnership with many donors, and provides grants to address changing community needs and enrich the quality of life in the Permian Basin.
