Foundation Staff Injured in Automobile Accident
On August 31st, Julie Jones, Cyndi Vara, and Guy McCrary of the Foundation staff were injured in an auto accident between Midland and Odessa in route to a development meeting, when they were rear-ended at a stop light by a farm truck at a high speed. Cyndi and Guy have returned to their work with the help of ongoing medical treatment and services.
Julie was more severely injured in the accident. Following emergency surgeries, extended hospital care, and vigorous rehabilitation, Julie has been released to home and to prepare to return to the good work for the Foundation that she began in May of this year.
We are all appreciative of the prayers and good wishes expressed by so many friends following this unfortunate event and reminded of the many good folks who make the Foundation’s work so meaningful.
