Annual Report - 2006
Dedication
![]() John D. Jack Swallow became the first chief executive of Permian Basin Area Foundation when the Foundation was incorporated in 1989, and worked with countless volunteers to establish our community foundation - not only a new nonprofit organization, but a new concept in the charitable landscape of the region. Jack made a significant contribution in expanding philanthropic outreach throughout the Permian Basin, touching the lives of thousands in the process, said A.J. Brune III, chairman of the Foundations Board of Governors. We are ever grateful for his service. Jack retired from the Foundation in late 2006, having made an indelible mark on our communities through his love for people. In honor of his many years of service to the Foundation, this Annual Report is dedicated to Jack Swallow. |
