Daniel Herd lived out his favorite scripture on a daily basis This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. His zest for life was infectious and he drew friends and family with his wit and laughter. Young Life, rodeos and ropings, hunting, and enjoying his family or a circle of friends were among his favorite pastimes. The Daniel Herd Memorial Scholarship Fund is awarded primarily to students pursuing a degree related to agriculture. Daniels legacy will be realized through the multitude of students whose dreams of a college education will be aided by the scholarship grants awarded in his name.
