Established in 1993, Hillcrest School utilizes unique multi-sensory instruction techniques to construct a specialized learning atmosphere in order to ensure success for students who experience insurmountable challenges in the traditional classroom. When students at Hillcrest see it, say it, do it, they develop strong foundations in fundamental academic subjects. Tennis equipment recently purchased with a grant made by Permian Basin Area Foundation used in conjunction with other innovative teaching methods open the windows of young minds often restricted by dyslexia and attention-deficit disorder. An endowment fund which supplements additional effective programs of Hillcrest School is overseen by the Foundation.
