Component Funds - Permanent Funds Supporting Agencies
These funds were established to benefit specific nonprofit organizations either by donors or by the agencies themselves.
Abell-Hanger/Permian Basin Area Foundation Administrative Fund As part of a matching grant initiative created by the Abell-Hanger Foundation, this fund came into existence to provide permanent administrative support for Permian Basin Area Foundation.
Arts Assembly of Midland Endowment Fund* This endowment supports the initiatives of the Arts Assembly to develop and enrich arts and culture opportunities for Midlands citizens and visitors. Among its programs is the annual Celebration of the Arts.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Midland Endowment Fund Income from this fund provides program support benefiting children from single-parent and no-parent homes.
Buffalo Trail Council Endowment Fund Youth development programs offered by the Boy Scouts to the West Texas region receive assistance from this fund.
Bynum School Endowment Fund Bynum School programs and services are supplemented by this fund. Bynum offers educational and vocational programs for children with learning and developmental disabilities.
Camp Fire USA West Texas Council Endowment Fund Resources for operations and programs offered by Camp Fire to regional youth are provided by this fund.
Centers for Children & Families Endowment Fund This fund supports the programs provided by the Centers for Children & Families. Centers programming includes counseling, educational and family support services.
Christmas in Action Endowment Fund Income from this fund is utilized to provide home repairs for low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners.
City of Midland Aquatics Endowment Fund Established to support aquatics and fitness programs for individuals of all ages, this fund additionally provides for the capital maintenance and improvement of COM aquatics facilities.
Clinic for the Community Childrens Ministry Endowment Fund The Community Childrens Clinic receives support from this fund which sustains the provision of health care services for local children in need.
Jeanne Doerr Fund for Santa Rita School - Created by family and friends in memory of Jeanne Doerr, an active volunteer at Santa Rita Elementary School, this fund supports instructional and program related purposes at the school.
Ector County Independent School District Foundation Fund - Resources from this fund provide for enhancements to education services and programs for Odessa schools.
Ellen Noël Art Museum of the Permian Basin Permanent Fund This fund supports the Ellen Noël Art Museum, which offers opportunities for education and the appreciation of the visual arts. It is a partner in the Odessa Endowment for the Arts & History.
Episcopal School Fund - The intent of this fund is to support Trinity School of Midland and St. Johns Episcopal School in Odessa.
Royce Everett Memorial Fund for Special Olympics Family and friends of Odessa native Royce Everett established this memorial fund to support the senior Special Olympics games in which Royce participated for over 26 years.
Friends of the Crockett County Library Endowment Fund Established by supporters of the Crockett County Library in Ozona, endowment resources are utilized to sustain the librarys general operations and maintenance.
Globe of the Great Southwest Permanent Fund The Globe of the Great Southwest receives support from this fund which ensures the continuation of the organization providing theatre arts entertainment and education programs. It is a partner in the Odessa Endowment for the Arts & History.
Harmony Home Childrens Advocacy Center Endowment Fund Income from this fund aids in providing services of support and advocacy to children who are victims of physical and sexual abuse.
Permian Basin Girl Scout Council Pamela Catherine Rebel Haas Memorial Camp Scholarship Fund Created by Catherine Kellner in memory of her daughter, this fund helps to provide scholarships for the Girls Scouts Camp Mitre Peak riding program.
Heritage of Odessa Founders Permanent Fund The work of preserving historical assets for the Odessa community is supported by this fund. It is a partner in the Odessa Endowment for the Arts & History.
High Sky Emmauus Community Endowment Fund* Resources from this fund sustain evangelistic church leadership development and renewal through the Walk To Emmaus program.
Hillcrest School Endowment Hillcrest School established this fund to provide resources for its education programs benefiting students with dyslexia and attention-deficit disorder.
Mary Wynn Hinkle/Casa de Amigos Fund Family and friends of Mary Wynn Hinkle, longtime Executive Director of Casa de Amigos, created this memorial fund to support the programs and efforts of Casa in serving the citizens of south and east Midland.
Junior League of Midland Building Endowment Fund Resources from this fund support the maintenance and operations of the Junior League headquarters facilities.
Junior League of Odessa Endowment Fund This fund was established to support the ongoing community service programs of the Junior League of Odessa.
Linebery Endowment for Baptist Memorials Ministries - Created with assets from the dissolution of the Scarborough-Linebery Foundation, this fund supports the San Angelo-based Baptist Memorials Ministries.
Martin County Convent Endowment Fund Restoration and maintenance of the historic structure and grounds of the Martin County Convent in Stanton is sustained by income from this fund.
Midland Montessori School Endowment Fund* This endowment was established for the benefit of Montessori School with a challenge grant from the Scarborough-Linebery Fund. Midland Montessori offers education opportunities employing teaching methods developed by Dr. Maria Montessori.
Midland/Odessa District of the National Kidney Foundation of West Texas Endowment Fund Income from this fund supports programs and services for Permian Basin residents suffering from kidney disorders and disease.
Midland/Odessa Symphony & Chorale Endowment Fund The Symphonys role of serving West Texas in an educational and entertainment capacity through symphonic, chamber, and chorale music is supported by this fund.
Midland Rape Crisis Center Endowment Fund Victims of sexual assault and their loved ones receive services of support and advocacy through the resources of this fund.
Neighbors Against Burglary and Drugs Permanent Fund* Income from this fund supports public education in an effort to reduce the growing number of problems facing the neighborhood communities in Midland.
Nonprofit Management Center of the Permian Basin Fund Administrative costs are partially offset by resources from this fund for the Nonprofit Management Center of the Permian Basin, a program of Permian Basin Area Foundation aiding in strengthening nonprofits across the region.
Odessa Christian School Endowment - The assets from dissolution of the Scarborough-Linebery Foundation enabled the creation of this fund, which supports the mission of Odessa Christian School.
Palmer Drug Abuse Endowment Fund - PDAP is supported by this fund in its mission of helping people heal from the effects of mind altering chemicals.
Parker House Ranching Museum Permanent Fund This fund supports the Parker House Ranching Museum, which promotes historical education and the appreciation and conservation of historical structures and artifacts. It is a partner in the Odessa Endowment for the Arts & History.
Permian Basin Area Foundation Administrative Endowment Administrative costs of the Foundation are partially offset by this fund.
Permian Basin Girl Scout Council Endowment Fund The Council utilizes income from this fund to supplement operations and programs supporting Girl Scouting.
Permian Historical Society Permanent Fund By supporting the Permian Historical Society, this fund sustains the preservation of history and historical resources for the Odessa community and Permian Basin region. It is a partner in the Odessa Endowment for the Arts & History.
Permian Playhouse of Odessa Permanent Fund The Permian Playhouse, which provides theatre arts entertainment and educational programs, benefits from this fund. It is a partner in the Odessa Endowment for the Arts & History.
Presidential Museum Permanent Fund Income from this fund supports the Presidential Museum, located in Odessa, which promotes historical education and the appreciation of the office of the Presidency of the United States. It is a partner in the Odessa Endowment for the Arts & History.
Betsy Puckett Fund for Bynum School A recipient of services from the Bynum School Vocational Program, Betsy Puckett created this fund before her death to support the school by the distribution of its income.
Nancy Vann Rea Midland Introspective Fund The United Way of Midland in conjunction with the late Nancy Vann Rea, longtime Midland community volunteer, established this fund to support programs and projects identified through periodic human needs assessment.
Recording Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, Inc. Endowment Fund Cassette books, playback equipment, and other services to the visually impaired are provided in part by this fund.
Safe Place of the Permian Basin Endowment Fund Female and child victims of family violence receive valuable services as a result of this fund.
Scarborough-Linebery Home Endowment - Created with assets from the dissolution of the Scarborough-Linebery Foundation, this fund supports the maintenance and operations of the Scarborough-Linebery Home in Midland.
John Seay Memorial Scholarship Fund for COM Aquatics - Together Continental Land & Fur Company, Inc., the Ken W. Davis Foundation, and the family of John Seay established this fund in memory of Mr. Seay, a longtime supporter of COM Aquatics, and in whose honor scholarship funds for aquatics programs are provided for low-income families.
United Way/Jack Steele Fund Established in memory of longtime United Way volunteer Jack Steele, this fund aids in offsetting the administrative costs of the United Way of Midland, enabling its program providers to receive increased support from contributions raised through the annual campaign.
Teen Challenge of the Permian Basin Endowment Fund Teen Challenge of the Permian Basin receives support from this fund in order to continue providing programs for people with life-controlling problems so that they may improve their lives through the teaching of Biblical principles.
United Way of Midland Permanent Fund The United Way of Midland created this fund to provide a vehicle through which donors may make perpetual gifts in support of agencies served under the United Way umbrella.
United Way of Odessa - Administrative costs of the United Way of Odessa are partially offset by this fund.
West Texas Food Bank Endowment Fund As a result of income from this fund, the West Texas Food Bank provides services to collect and redistribute wholesome food to agencies feeding the needy, ill, elderly, or very young.
White-Pool House Friends Permanent Fund The White-Pool House Friends organization, which promotes the preservation of the White-Pool House and other historically important treasures located in Odessa, is supported by this fund. It is a partner in the Odessa Endowment for the Arts & History.

Permian Basin Area Foundation administers a number of other funds the donors to which have requested anonymity.
Funds of the Foundation are open to additional tax-deductible contributions. We also welcome the opportunity to visit with donors about creating new component funds for charitable purposes.
