The Foundation’s scholarship program continues to grow appreciably indicating how Foundation donors greatly value education as a vessel for philanthropy. For college classes beginning in the Fall of 2003, the Foundation awarded more than $90,000 to 82 students from communities around the region. “This scholarship made me realize how many people are interested in helping others,” said one student. “I will do my best to make their efforts bear fruit…” Students and counselors may now view eligibility, selection criteria, and application forms on-line in the SCHOLARSHIPS section.
