Applying for a Grant
The Foundation makes grants to charitable organizations for a wide range of philanthropic purposes in the areas of education, arts and culture, health, social services, community development, and civic affairs.
Because the Foundation prefers to fund innovative and special projects of organizations that are responsive to the needs of the communities within our region, grants will be generally directed to efforts not related to ongoing operating expenses, individual grantees, basic research, political or religious activities, endowment funds, deficit financing, or fundraising campaigns.
Organizations qualified by the IRS to seek charitable support are encouraged to visit the Foundations web site, which includes the grant application form and checklist. The Foundations grant application is found here.
Grant applications are due:
Spring - April 15th
Fall - October 15th
Next: Memorials
