Annual Report - 2001
Introduction - Legacy
Permian Basin Area Foundation is a community foundation one of almost 700 serving communities around our great nation and the world.
A community foundation is a publicly supported charitable organization formed to provide a resource that can be used by philanthropists of all manner and means with a wide range of interests and passions to support a variety of worthy charitable causes.
By creating charitable funds with donors, stewarding these assets through prudent management, and making grants to support changing community needs, we seek to make a positive difference in the communities of the Permian Basin region we serve.
Indeed, Permian Basin Area Foundation operates as a permanent charitable endowment offering countless options through which a donor may leave a lasting legacy to their community or chosen charitable cause.
The Foundations success and our capacity to meet community needs come from the continued generosity of our donors, with whom we have been richly blessed.
In our 2001 annual report, we are pleased to share a few Legacy stories featuring some of our donors and the loved ones they have chosen to honor by charitable giving.
We sincerely thank each of those we have featured and the many others who have employed the Foundation through which to share their blessings with generations yet to come
